Activities
The Social Justice Department of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), in collaboration with the Indian Christian Unity Forum and various secular organizations, is organizing a peaceful protest to condemn the recent statement made by Mr. Amit Shah in Parliament against Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
The protest is scheduled to be held on Monday, 23rd December 2024, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, in front of Freedom Park, facing Maharani College, Bengaluru.
The protest aims to reaffirm the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, who enshrined dignity, equality, and justice for all citizens. Any attempt to undermine his contribution is seen as an affront to the Constitution itself. Therefore, the participants strongly condemn Mr. Shah’s remarks and demand a formal apology.
